For the last three years J:son Borg’s artistic practice has taken a move towards filmmaking. This show will be the first time these films are exhibited together as a body of work. The films address different complexities in relation to mobility, its history and contemporary discourses around sovereignty, borders and the movement of bodies. J:son Borg's work explores how this manifests as intellectual reasoning, physiological states and social choreographies. These narratives are mediated through modes of performative documentary, non-linear cinematography and collective script and screenplay writing.
